AKA Lounge

Detail: The AKA Lounge is located in downtown Orlando on the second floor of 68 East Pine Street which is part of the historical district. The AKA is housed in a building that was built in 1886. The interior of the lounge has 20 foot high ceilings that are bolstered by wooden beans and gleaming wood floors that make for easy dancing. In the main bar area there is an old coca cola sign that was painted on that wall in 1904 which is incorporated as part of the decor. Inside you will find funky furniture to sit on and the walls decorated with a number of large art pieces to gaze upon. The AKA Lounge supports Orlando’s local artists and allows them to display their artwork on the inside walls many of which are for sale. The theme of the artwork changes every six to eight weeks allowing for a new chic look on the interior.
